I’m a Senior Editor for Polyphonic.org, and have been a member of the Hartford Symphony Orchestra’s viola section for almost 30 years. I’m a former President of ROPA (Regional Orchestra Players Association), former member of the Advisory Board of the Symphony Orchestra Institute, and have held many, many committee positions with the Hartford Symphony, including Chair of the Orchestra Committee. I’m also a consultant to many  software companies, and I recently started writing the grants for the Hartford Symphony.

This is my first attempt at blogging, so bear with me as I try to find the right mix of amusing personal anecdotes and serious conference reporting.
